I recently stayed at this property while in town for the Virginia Tech game. I was initially impressed by the positive reviews, which led me to book here. However, upon arrival, the experience quickly soured. The office reeked of cigarette smoke, which immediately set off alarms. Despite the property being labeled as non-smoking and requiring guests to sign agreements to that effect, our suite was filled with the same overpowering smell. The cigarette odor was so strong that it burned our noses. We tried everything—opening windows for hours, spraying Lysol, and using Febreze—but nothing worked. The smell clung to our clothes and luggage within minutes of being in the room. We had to keep our bags closed and, even after returning home, it took multiple wash cycles to fully remove the stench. Although the room appeared clean, the overwhelming cigarette odor made it hard to appreciate. It’s disappointing that a non-smoking policy doesn’t seem to be enforced here.

Nice, quiet, and clean property! Check in and check out was easy. It is well equipped with all the necessary amenities such as microwave, toaster, pod coffee maker, stove top, pans, cutlery, ladle, spatula, small pots, plates, cups, bowls, iron, hairdryer. It also has ample of towels, soap, dishsoap, and kitchen roll. Kroger and few restaurants are at a walkable distance along with a few restaurants. Ample parking spaces. Internet speed was good.

This is a great chage of pace for a regular hotel room, this location abuts a shopping Plaza. Resturants, grocery store, Mickey D's, pizza etc. Only 3 miles of I-81.

Perfect for my needs
This suite was perfect for my needs on this weekend. Very clean, furniture was kept up and comfortable, I could cook if I wanted as it had all the essentials. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine, they even included a toothbrush and toothpaste. Very happy with this stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It is nice to have a place where you have room to relax and feel comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have another piece of furniture, a stand or something for the microwave as I had to work on my computer and having it on the table was too cumbersome.

Suite was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The manager was very personable, accommodating and made sure our stay was top notch! It was nice having a Kroger store within walking distance as well. Would definitely recommend this place to stay for any amount of days.

I just stayed one night. Its an older motel. The room was big and very clean. Only negative thing. The toilet was low to the floor. Oh the kitchen sink. Whatever they use to clean it. Its like an oil. I guess they put it on to protect the sink.

The layout of the unit was good and it was clean enough EXCEPT - the unit I was assigned smelled AWFUL and that took away a lot from the experience. I'm not sure if smokers had previously stayed there but it ended up that kept most of my possessions in my car overnight and I had to put any clothes I had in the unit in a garage back and wash them immediately when I got home. I stayed just one night (so I'm likely not the target market for this place) and it was over the weekend so no one was working - I got my key from a lockbox. I will admit, I didn't reach out about the smell because it was rather late when I really settled into the unit.

We booked for a Friday night. We called to let them know we would be coming after 7pm. They let us know the key would be in the lock box and what to do. We had no problems at all and the place was really clean. The little extras were nice too! We stopped while traveling and we will use this location again!
