Relaxing time off at Swinton Park
Posted 2 Sep 2024 on HotelsBeautiful Hotel in an amazing estate and deer park. Stunning views, beautiful comfortable rooms with wonderful public rooms and reception rooms in the ground floor. The staff is very helpful and friendly, in particular David made our stay uniquely personal and memorable. The food in all restaurants is excellent. The Spa is modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. We will definitely return, when in North Yorkshire again.

A quiet but lovely two nights
Posted 7 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe stayed for two nights. The location is wonderful. It’s remote and peaceful. The restaurants were both excellent as was the breakfast. We went out to the Bivaouc cafe and that was lovely as well. We used the spa which was quite busy but otherwise really nice.

Having previously stayed at Swinton, I have never been asked to pay for the room upon arrival, usually it's payment on departure. Totally embarrassing to be asked to pay on arrival, in front of my husband (who I had treated to a stay for his 50th birthday) and a group of other guests. How to humiliate your guests and make them feel like paupers in front of everybody in one easy step. Thanks very much!
