The epitome of a cosy cottage
Posted 16 Apr 2024 on HotelsHonestly one of the best places I’ve stayed in. We wanted a simple cottage that accommodates a dog & was quiet and relaxing. Swallow Cottage is unbelievable!
The cottage itself is so warm & cosy, the hospitality was incredible & there’s even a dog paddock section at the rear for the dog to run around in.
The host is absolutely lovely & you can tell a lot of care & attention has gone into this cottage.
The location of the cottage is roughly 20 mins from Harrogate & 20 mins from Knaresborough. It’s a lovely part of the world and this property belongs there.
If you want a break from the hustle & bustle of life, but still want to be able to have day trips to nearby cities then this is absolutely the place for you. Cannot recommend it enough!

The Perfect Retreat
Posted 8 Apr 2024 on HotelsThe cottage was beautiful, cosy, well furnished, with many special touches. Gail, our hostess was charming and very helpful. She has definitely provided everything one could need for a pleasant stay, including spare toiletries and some food stuff in case we had forgotten basic products. And everything was good quality. We have stayed in 4 and 5 star aparthotels before, where the provisions were not as thoughtfully put together. The location is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect!! We would stay there again.

Swallow Cottage
