"Dreaming of visiting Cinque Terre for years, we finally made it. I booked our room in advance, and got a great room at Scorci did Mare on the top with the balcony. It was everything I hoped for (plus lots of steps). We went out and walked around, brought a fresh Italian snack back and sat on the patio overlooking this beautiful city. I will be back. There a lots of hills and stairs here, be aware. The bed was hard compared to USA standard but it's normal for Italy in my previous travels. "

"If you’ve been to Riomaggiore you know that everything is up the side of the mountain. That was true for Vento di Grecale. We went up and up the hill trying to find the name of the street. Google maps told us we had gone too far so we had to turn back. We finally found the door. It’s in a tiny alley way on the other side of a small church (Oratorio de Nostra Signora Assunta).
