The property is about a 10 minute walk through the tunnel then up the street to number 99. The little balcony overlooking the street was a nice touch. There is no elevator and you are going up 3 flights of stairs to the room, so plan ahead for your stay and pack accordingly. Maddy met us at the room to make sure we had a good feel for 5 Terre and the area. Very glad we stayed in 5 Terre.

Loved our well-appointed apartment with a balcony overlooking the vibrant town. Our host was gracious. The surrounding area was filled with dining options and beautiful views. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the train station.

Bathroom outside the room with horrible shower. No TV, horrible bed and sheets. Extremely noisy AC that doesn’t really work. Expired (free) goodies. Host not very polite (kind of rude).

Cara Marlene,Who was rude from the start was you. A 9 sq. meter bathroom I do not think is horrible especially for Italy's standard and I never had any complaints in 19 yrs. of this business. If you read the description of the room in Expedia as well as the bathroom you would have known b4 booking that the bathroom is a private bathroom but it is OUTSIDE of the room exclusively for your use. Obviously you didn't read that part did you. Also there is no mention in the description that there is a tv in any of my rooms of the Affittacamere.Furthermore, no one has ever complained about my sheets or the beds and I have 3 rooms maybe you have specific needs like satin sheets. If you know the world and technology all modern ACs have a button you can press for silent mode or night mode. This would have resolved the problem of it being as you say noisy.As for expired goodies -- I went to check all my products and since your brain is limited the numbers you read are not dates but product code numbers. FYI dates in Europe are indicated as day, month, year and not indicated as in America.Best Regards

It would be nice to know what you did not find to your liking with the accommodations provided.You arrived and when at the front door, since you found it opened you decided to enter but then you didn't know where to go. Instead, at the front door you should have rang the bell for Il BoMa. I send explicit instructions (8 pages) prior to clients arrival. If you can't follow them..... Maybe you should listen to your better half.I guess it's a matter of opinion, seeing all the excellent reviews I have received in the past.

We loved this property. We were on the blue room. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was fantastic with a great shower. We loved the little balcony. The air conditioning was amazing and such a relief after a hot day. Coffee, snacks and a mini fridge were provided. The only thing of note is the stairs. It is two floors up but seriously worth every step.

This location was incredible. It was right off the Main Street of Riomaggiore. The owner was very kind and was accessible our entire stay via what’s app. We enjoyed all the places around us and our view.

Maddie was an excellent host and takes good care of the room and her guests. Always available when we had questions. We stayed in the standard room which had the private bathroom down the hallway, which we were nervous about but it was no problem. The bathroom is large and their is a shelf where you can keep your toiletries so you don’t have to carry them back and forth. The light in the hallway turns on automatically and the hallway is clean so it was absolutely fine. We never even ran into anyone in the hallway. Very convenient laundry a few doors down,

This stay was so user friendly and the owner Maddy was so helpful and gave lots of great recommendations we used on our stay. Great accommodation in a beautiful town.
