The room was nothing like the photos. There was peeling paint, cracks along the walls, door handles falling off, what looked like mold in the bathroom as well as the door lock being broken. Management was refusing to speak to us when we complained and requested a refund or at least a cancellation of the remaining stay. The book of complaints in the lobby was at capacity. We ended up going to a police station and speaking with some lawyers. Once we managed to contact them on writing demanding a cancellation in accordance with Brazilian consumer protection laws we finally obtained one. Some of the reception staff was really helpful as much as they could given the circumstances. The breakfast was decent and the location was good, but I would never go back.

I must report bad practice by a young man at the reception who was there on September 21. I asked him to order me a taxi to the airport at a contact number that I had. Well, when we arrived at the airport the taxi driver charged us a higher amount than the budgeted amount. The person at the reception called a taxi driver who was a friend of his and not the contact that I gave him. Very bad experience because one trusts the hotel staff

The most disappointing place I’ve ever been

I’ve had to change three rooms till fit with the price I’ve paid. For 3 stars hotel doesn’t cover the expectations about “Spacious rooms”(my first 2days was in small rooms with small double beds), the fitness center was one multifunction machine, cross trainer and treadmill(all of them basic and old) there weren’t any dumbbells or training mat. Also the whole spa area was clean and tidy. The sauna was off through the whole time. Also for 3 stars hotel the breakfast was almost the same variety every morning(my stay was 10nights). The bed sheets has staines and holes. Housekeeping wasn’t keeping the room in good and clean condition, the floor was always dirty even after cleaning. All pictures aren’t accurate, probably they’ve been before 10 years. I’m totally disappointed of this hotel for the price I’ve paid.

Large, perfectly fine room. Kind, friendly staff. Buffet was standard Brazilian fare and tasty.
