The Ibis Hotel
Posted 25 Jul 2024 on HotelsThe Ibis Hotel in Rio De Janeiro has mosquitos in my Hotel room I paid for. I was bitten by mosquitoes many times. The other Ibis Hotel near the Airport also had mosquitos in the Hotel lobby.

cleaning of the rooms leaves something to be desired, very dirty elevators, air conditioning leaking water on the floor of the room and the shower door does not close properly, causing a risk of falling.

Worst breakfast I had in my life. Checkin process was slow and room was very small.

What I expected

Poor service from staff who did not want to be there
Hotel is a bit tatty with things falling apart! Ran out of food for breakfast by 7.50am Ran out of cutlery and plates.Had to ask for bed sheets and the hall to be vacuumed after 3 days. Air con in one room not working . Bar ran dry. Safe not working X 2 Keys continually needed reprogramming

Great location
Posted 12 Dec 2018 on HotelsGreat hotel. Quiet at night. Safe location. I highly recommend it. Right across the street from a mall with good food court. I would pre pay your breakfast which was good
