Absolute worst! I chose it for the location and breakfast, which are the only good things along with the view. On the first day, I noticed two of my belongings went missing after the room was cleaned. When I reported it, they responded by saying they trusted their cleaning staff because they were long term employees and showed no interest in compensating me. After cleaning, they didn’t replace the towels. I requested new ones, and it took 3 hours for them to arrive only after asking multiple times. When they finally brought them, the towels were dirty as shown in the photos. This happened twice. The room was constantly dirty—full of sand and hair in various places and never properly cleaned. I stopped trusting the cleaning service and locked everything in the safe. Next day, the safe broke and they had to drill it open to give me access to my work equipment. I requested to have my room cleaned while I was present, but the cleaning was very superficial: they used a broom, didn’t vacuum, and even wiped surfaces with a pillowcase right in front of me. Wi-Fi was terrible in both hotels, constantly disconnecting and unreliable. After begging for basic service and being ignored by every receptionist I spoke to over the phone—they clearly didn’t care about anything I was requesting—I had to escalate the issue to the hotel manager. She was the only person who provided proper assistance and transferred me to Mercure. While the room was slightly better, there was mold on curtains.
