We had a really lovely stay here for 3 nights, and just a great time walking around the trail and observing all of the birds onsite. A really beautiful property and the cabins are cozy and well-designed. Great food too!

The property is right in the middle of the rainforest, they have amenities that make it comfortable (hot shower, breakfast, dinner, clean sheets and towels) and trails you can hike to experience the jungle and a secluded beach! My wife and I had a great time, Carlos is amazing, he cooks fabulous food and can help you out with any tour or excursion, he knows the island and he helped us with everything. We rented a small stick shift car and we were able to drive all over including his property while it was raining, though challenging at times a 4x4 wasn’t necessary but would be beneficial. I can’t say enough about Carlos and his hospitality. Also the location of suital lodge allowed us to drive places from a central location and make it back before it got to late, usually in time for his amazing dinner! He is very flexible and can help you with pretty much anything, just ask! Next time we are back in Costa Rica we will be coming back to suital lodge. Thank you Carlos!!!

It was great swimming there. Water is really hot. The beach is small but you may be alone on it. I stayed in the room, not the bungallow. It was marked as discounted, but in fact it is not - it is most probably the real price comparing to the price of a bungallow. Quite cheap, but for same price I used to have a tent alone in the rainforest with full comfort. And breakfast is not included. There were some stains on the pillows and on the towels. Mosquito nets are punctured and there was a lot of insects inside the room and the bed. The shower dripped randomly in the middle of the night. The room is part of the host house, so you may hear humans sleeping as well as the rainforest sounds. Wifi only works in the restaurant. Some guests were really nice and I will keep contact with them.

Jungle life
Posted 13 Feb 2018Situated in the middle of the jungle. Don't expect luxury, but you will feel completely free. Everything is clean and the breakfast is super. The owner is very helpfull in planning your excursions to Corcovado etc.
