the location was prime. The staff at the front desk did not ask us at the check out if we had a pleasant stay, did not wish us a safe trip... I feel that they have some room to grow when it comes to customer service. Also, their dining room service was very slow, the tables were not set up in a timely manner for their next guests. You had to almost set it yourself-no utensils, napkins. They did not attend to their guest to make sure that all of their needs were met. This is our second year coming to the hotel and little if anything has improved. It was the cleaning service staff who thanked us for our visit and extended their wishes for our safe journey.

This is a beautiful hotel with an interesting and long history. The breakfast was absolutely the best you could ever wish for. The room was upscale, clean and comfortable. The staff all spoke English and were very professional. The only negative was a neighboring disco party that went to 1 o’clock in the morning we could hear the music in our room. I don’t think that’s the fault of the hotel, but it’s something to be aware of.

The room was clean and bed was nice. The room was not updated and the shower was older. awkward to move the panels around so you wouldn’t get water all over the room. Breakfast buffet was well stocked.

A bit disappointing. I can tell the hotel put money in the common areas but neglected the rooms. Our room had a very uncomfortable bed (very very firm), the walls could use new paint touch up (scratches, marks, scuffs, dirt and grime in many spaces) because it looked dirty, the carpet in the hallways and room had bad odor and looked bad, the main bathroom light did not function, multiple switches and outlets did not work (every time I tried the switch the fuses in box tripped even when nothing was in outlets). It’s a great location of a hotel and the staff are excellent, however we were not comfortable with our stay.
