Hotel has the feel of a castle. Room with high ceiling and nice decor. Ten minutes' walk to the train station. Plenty of convenience stores and budget restaurants (E.g. Lido) nearby. No kettle in the room.

Had big problems with wi-fi, could not get a signal, asked for advice at reception they said they would send someone up and investigate - still waiting and this was the first 24 hrs.
They knew I would be arriving 15th but because I arrived 01:30 in the morning I was told it would be costing another day and they were told what time prior to arrival.

Please note arrival - chekc in time is on 15.January at noon (12-00 day time) you arrived on night 14-15, that means receptionist told correctly that you had to make reservation from Jan 14 already with remarks that will arrive after midnight)

Nice and friendly staff, fantastic room with a big bathroom. Nice and clean. Good breakfast. Good location for a walk round the town. Defently oing bac again for the 4th time.

The staff was great, but the hotel could do with more staff. The bar and restaurant area is closed Sunday to Tuesday inclusive so if you would like a drink - including a cup of tea - you have to go to your room or out into the lovely town.
Great breakfast buffet.

A wonderful place in Riga
Posted 21 Nov 2019 on HotelsWhat à lovely hotel! Our second stay. Great room, fabulous breakfast. And when we left at 4am for the airport they gave us bag lunches. We look forward to staying there again.
