Move from selected property into another nearby flat. Flat had a key code access to the stair well but the flat had no key never mind a room key. Cleanliness was poor. It does have a really good central location and would be a great location if significant work was done on the property.

Shabby hostel
Posted 5 Nov 2018 on HotelsThis is a hostel located in some fomer appartments. There is 1 toilet and 2 showers for the floor only (for 25persons), plus extremely small kitchen. They don't have boxes for luggage at all. And finally it is stinking in dormitory awfully. So it was bad experience. The only plus - the location in old city centre.

Great space in a great location!

Pros: It was a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. The apartment gave us plenty of space to relax after a long day of walking around Riga.
Cons: Not so many steps! Can't do much to improve that...but be ready to climb up lots of steps. But it's worth it.
Location: You can't find a much better location. You're close to restaurants, shops and many sights.
We loved our stay in the Doma Hostel. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Center of the heart! Good location!
Posted 14 Jun 2017 on HotelsThe Staff Vineta was very helpful to map me every local attractions and the location is super good, though the music play by the nearby cafe was super now, but i enjoy the music too, they stop at 2300, so it's in the heart of the old town center, supreme!

extra security on second-floor access door using the same flob key, as for the main entrance maybe?
Location: Great location.
The bed mattresses needed replacing were too hard and uncomfortable. Disappointing that there were no lockers in the room. The fridge could do with a daily clean/check.

Good location but that's it
Posted 8 Oct 2016So we got there on a Friday night after a long day of travel. We found the place ok, and the location is right in the old town. So an easy walk to everything but it's also right in the middle of all the pubs and stuff so a LOT of street noise and we had some other guests coming back totally drunk and rowdy really early in the morning. There is also a restaurant very close by that has live music paying until around 2200. Let me just say the staff tried their best to help us out, but we won't be going back there
