"The location was central making it easy to get to just about everything. The Westminster bridge is very crowded, but Waterloo station isn’t far, and you can avoid the bridge that direction. "We stayed overnight combining it with a Theatre trip. Hotel is well located, just a few metres from Russell Sq. tube station and bus stops. "The hotel is lovely. The lobby and rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The elevators are an issue. There is only one that works which is insufficient for the number of guests. Be prepared to walk the flights of stairs to your room. We even had to drag our luggage down four flights of stairs to check out. Mini bar is also an issue. You have to request the complimentary water daily. Some days we did not receive it. Some staff act like it’s gold they are giving you. "
