We live in Richmond and spent the night in the hotel as a special treat to ourselves. I was delighted with the size of the Maymont room. We easily were able to walk to the Hard Shell where we had dinner. Check in and check out was incredibly easy and fast.

The front desk people were nice and offered to hold my luggage while I attended a conference but then when I got up to my room, the drawers in the bedroom kept falling open and would not stay closed in the Lovely room, then when I went to take a shower I couldn’t figure out how to use the handle and it was loose like it was falling off. But the room did look like it had just been remodeled which was good. Then they told me I got free breakfast and when I came downstairs I was charged for the food I ordered. Regarding the shower issue, I called the front desk and the front desk lady was YELLING to her associate to have a man come upstairs to check it and she seemed like she didn’t know what she was talking about. Other than that it was fine

The property was average but the service was very unfriendly. Every single interaction was negative. I never leave reviews, but the service here was really disappointing.

This was a prefect property. The room was a suite, so much space. This was a place I would live if it was an apartment. So quiet, the elevators were great, love that they only hold a few people instead of a mass of people. Loved my stay would stay again for sure!!!

Easy check in, friendly receptionist. I would have appreciated info on the hotel however such as dining room/bar hours. But im pleased with my stay so far.
