Location is fantastic! View across a meadow to the 1000 year old harbor and historic Ribe with the cathedral towering above it all. Somewhat basic accommodations, but everything was sparkling clean and worked. And the breakfast was delicious and very well stocked.

Great location, a quiet area yet clost to the main shopping streets and within easy walking distance of the railway station. Clean with excellent range of facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

False advertising
Posted 24 Jul 2017 on HotelsFalse advertising. In the pics on the website, there is a climbing gym & a pool. We has access to none of them. They said you have to be a member to visit those places.
Place is clean & nice. You need your own linens or u can rent them...which is weird. Why would someone travel with linens?
Location is great.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that found our place clean and nice. In regards to linen we have a huge number of guests travelling with linen which we accept and which is why we offer other guests to rent linen as a part of their stay. It is a fact that we have a climbing wall but this is only available through the Climbing Club and must be booked in advance. On our website we tell that Ribe Swimming is located 1 km from our hostel and we apologize if this could be misunderstood. We are pleased that you stayed at Danhostel Ribe.

Hostel, but too expensive.

Great value
Posted 12 Jul 2016 on HotelsThis hostel is located in an old naval school from 1916 and converted to hostel in 1979. The rooms are spartan but so is the price. Breakfast is largely homemade and worth the extra money. For a small fee you can grab what you want from the breakfast buffet and make your own lunch pack to go.

Hvis man gerne vil kalde de 6 værelser på 2.sal for Hotel Vadehavet, og sætte prisen efter det, skal der gøres noget ved lydisoleringen, til etagerne nedenunder, hvor der typisk er mange skoleklasser på lejrskole.
Ellers ganske udemærket.

Uncomfortable rooms, bed linen in bad conditions. Good position, in a quiet and peaceful area.
