"We had a very good experience even though it was just for sleeping. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast for two days, it was great (no bacon and eggs). "A decent hotel in the "new town" of Riano (the old one having been flooded by the dam construction). Room was large, double bed, well-equipped bathroom with toiletries. The area is quiet, safe and has views of the reservoir and mountains. My rate did not include breakfast, but it is available at 6 Euro (orange juice, coffee and toast)"

"Great service in a beautiful and quiet village that is very well worth visiting. The owner, Sonia, was always very attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed their home-made natural cider and the superb breakfast with homemade pastries (by the way, excellent coffee!). "We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Rural Picos de Europa and had a wonderful stay. It's located in a beautiful position, 5 - 10 minutes walk from the village and there's plenty of parking space.
