Really lovely Inn full of character. Lovely staff and easy check in. Room was clean, comfortable and lots of character. Right in the middle of Rhayader so a nice walk in the evening. Would stay again and recommend 😃

On arrival at 8.30pm we were told that we could not get a meal as the kitchen was overworked with a large table.
This despite the last food order time of 9.00pm. We were informed that if we had booked a table then they would have served us!! Not sure what difference a booked table would have made to an overworked kitchen.
Also very noisy street until half past midnight.
Otherwise facilities average for money.

Unfortunately, We cannot always guarantee walk-ins will be able to get a table, It is advised to book due to this, which you would have been advised in prior communication to staying. As you stayed on a saturday night, these can get very busy - due to this food orders will be taken up until 9pm if there is the capacity to do so - as there was a large table who had pre ordered in advance this then stopped us from taking anymore orders past 8.30.
