Great property, would stay again. We had 2 apartments, one for a group of 3 and one for a group of 4. The space/amenities were excellent. The apartment on the 3rd floor was much quieter than the one on the first floor. on the first floor, the street level noise was sleep disruptive at times but overall not too bad if you are used to some night time city noise.

Great location and we managed to get one of the free parking spaces which was a welcome surprise. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and we all enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Reykjavík.

This was my second time staying at Rey Apartments. The location is super convenient and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

The location was perfect and the unit was very open and spacious. I wish the place had a coffee pot or any way to make coffee and the building outer door was very difficult to unlock.
I would stay in this unit again.

The hotel fraudulently advertises that they have a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. There is NO SHUTTEL and they refused to refund the cost of the room when I said I wanted to go elsewhere. Directions to the Rey Apt. were pathetic and we wandered around on the streets for an extended period of time trying to find the apt. bldg., all while lugging heavy luggage. I had to take a taxi to a bus station and then a bus to get to the airport. Getting bags up and down multiple flights of narrow steps due to no elevator was a nightmare. Most stressful hotel stay I have ever had.

Dear Lesley,We apologise that your stay with us did not meet your standards.Firstly, we do have a shuttle service, which is bookable at a surcharge, we regret that this might not have been made abundantly clear to you, but it is displayed on our Expedia site. You did not want to use our shuttle service becuase you though the cost was too steep. Keep in mind that the ride to the aiport can take up to 50 minutes. There is nothing fraudulent about it. We did our best to ameliorate this misunderstanding by paying for your taxi to the closest FlyBus terminal.We regret that you could not easily find the apartments, but most of our guests have very little issue getting there as it is only a two-minute walk and our front desk staff are very well trained in providing the directions. On your day of check-in, our night shift receptionist personally left his post to assist you with getting your bags up the stairs. Nowhere on our booking page is it advertised that we have an elevator, or a porter service for that matter. If guests contact us in advance requesting a ground floor apartment, we always do our best to accomodate them. On the day of your departure, we also sent you an email inquiring what time you would need assistance with your luggage, to which you never replied.Again, we regret this unfortunate series of misunderstandings and hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.
