There was no restaurant and patio as expected and shown in the photos. Not their fault as it burnt down last year. Basic but beds were very comfy.

The Ol' Frontier is disgusting. We checked in, looked at the room and couldn't stay there. If you want to stay at a place that looks as though its waiting to be condemned, then this is for you. There are SO many more options in Revelstoke

The place is nothing special. The only good thing is the price, and its attached to a gas station. Rooms are small and outdated, smelled clean when we entered but dust on the headboards, boardwalk is falling apart and the listing pictures are outdated.

We were charged a $10 cleaning fee for our service dog. "InBritish Columbia, hotels are prohibited from charging extra fees for service dogs. Service dogs are not considered pets and therefore are not subject to pet fees or deposits. This protection is part of the B.C. Human Rights Code which ensures individuals with disabilities are not discriminated against when using service animals."

Stayed for three nights, enjoyed my stay place was clean and quiet, as a solo woman felt relatively safe no one bothered me being a motel with mostly male construction workers. Check in woman was pleasant. Had a dog with me so was nice it was pet friendly however was charged extra $10/night which I don’t think is necessary given that it’s a 2-star motel and the property itself is quite run down. Convenience store also said it was open 24-hours and it was not. Great location to local restaurants and national park. Also pictures advertised on Expedia are not up to date, and it’s not mentioned that the restaurant is no longer there. Overall was a good stay good value when you just need a place to crash and shower after long days of adventuring.
