"Breakfast was OK. Limited and a bit cold. There were also flies hovering which we didnt care for and hence only had the breakfast 1 day out of 3. The hotel itself is what you would expect a typical eurpean hotel. Love the location and closeness to the tourist spots and train. However, the rooms were super small. We had booked a special room with a extra bed for my daughter in a loft area but when we checked in we didnt get that room. We did get the extra bed so it was OK I guess, Staff was friendly and helpful with questions."

"The hotel was good although large groups of international guests staying there who were quite noisy late at night. My room was near reception and you could hear a lot of shouting and talking from guests during the night. Otherwise the hotel was very good but the location is a 20 minute walk to the old town."

"There was no stay. I was billed between 350-400 for one night weeks in advance and due to a Pilots strike on Lufthansa (last minute) hotel refused to be understandable this was out of my control, notified well over 24 hours before checkin. They asked me to rebook, but I was headed back the next day to USA. Was going to be there 8 hours max. Will not choose them again (and Hotels.com tried to help, sold me insurance and I still got stuck with the bill!). Buyer beware. Unplanned pilot strikes that cancel 50-75% of German traffic worldwide has to be covered yiu would think, even if just insurance bought. Horrible experience, next time back to Pestana C7 (Cristiano Ronaldo hotel) in old town!"

"Great place to stay, location is really central and can walk most places nearby. The room was very nice, the complimentary mini bar, pastel de natas and port were lovely to arrive to. The breakfast had a good variety and good quality."
