This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit .

Ok stay. Good parking & location
Posted 25 May 2024 on HotelsGood stay at Mercure, easy to find and parking onsite. Main areas of the hotel were ok but room a little dated. Great location for a short walk into the city. Breakfast offering was quite basic.

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Parking is a bit pricey at €13 per night when the De Gaulle public car park 2 mins walk away is €4 for 24 hrs.
Good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant - menu du jour is good value. House wine was excellent.
