Comfortable clean and conveniently located. Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking.

Receptionist was very pleasant as were most of the staff but the hotel requires substantial investment to bring it up to scratch, our superior room was poor and cold on arrival with an upgrade smelling of wet cats. Oscars restaurant was offering good food but service was rather slow and the dress code for the lady servers was rather risqué!
Currently would not stay again until I was confident that it had been improved.

Not as good as I expected
Posted 10 Sep 2024 on HotelsMy stay was ok but my room STANK of cigarette smoke - like the old hotels from days when smoking was allowed. I'm not a smoker and the smell hit me every time I walked in the room. The food was average - breakfast was limited and dinner - £25-30 for a main course - the pork belly was very dry and salty and the lamb shank and trimmings were salty. The service was excellent and I can't fault the staff themselves.
