Staff were friendly and helpful the property was safe and quiet. I would go back and stay at the la Quinta any time. The day time manager super cool late night staff always nice. Great place

My room smelled like dog pee and the bathroom ceiling had what looked like black mold. One of the back doors to the building was boarded with wood as if someone/something shattered the glass door, didn’t feel super safe. And this might just be a pet peeve but the gap under the room door was so big I could tell what kind of shoes people were wearing. Again didn’t feel super safe. One nice thing is the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Only 1 of the 3 or 4 elevators worked. First two days/nights of a 3 day stay the whole hotel was without hot water. Management later gave a discount, but was only authorized to credit me $33 and some change. No hot water at a hotel when you’re in town for a wedding and the events leading up to it is a pretty big deal, so I felt they could have done better considering the hotel is located in the mountains and the water is legit ice cold. Not a fun shower, if you can call holding as much of your body out of the water as possible a shower. Some mildew in the shower as well. Some of the older women behind the check in counter were rude to my travel companion. Manager was nice. We likely won’t return to this hotel in the future.

We stayed here once before and it was fine so we came back. Our first room was ok but it was so noisy. People were talking outside our door in the middle of the night. The staff was accommodating and let us change rooms but the new room was disgusting. Stained carpets, holes in the drapes, broken shower curtain. We won't be back again.

I was originally directed to a room on the third floor. Once I parked and went in the correct door I saw that the elevator was out of order and I didn’t want to lug my luggage up the stairs so I packed my stuff back up in the car and drove back to the front lobby. They put me in a ground level floor and the front desk clerk did not know that elevator was out of order. 3 of the 4 mornings of my stay I had no hot water to shower. They apparently had a problem with their water heater. I told front desk twice and was not given a voucher or something as an incentive to Stay there again. I come here each month to visit my mom who is in a long term care facility. Not sure I will stay here again. I can’t imagine this is a regular occurrance but it was extremely inconvenient for my recent stay. The room and sheets were comfortable and clean though and the facility looked well maintained except for the pool being out of order which may or may not be a seasonal thing. So it was not all bad.

I stay at La Quinta chain all the time but this was the worst one yet. Best thing about our stay was the associate at the front desk when checking in. The room was fine, but we booked a double room and were only given 2 bath towels,2 hand towels and 1 face cloth. The toilet roll holder had no rod, no Kleenex, the pool was FREEZING and unable to swim, the hot tub was "boarded" off with patio furniture stacked on top of the boards, no pool towels, "coffee maker" wouldn't hold the pod in place so had to go to lobby to get coffee. Lots of hotels on this strip so pick a different one than here

Rooms are older style with carpet which is better for sound proofing. However, the electrical needs updating as the plugs in the bathroom did not work. Bed comfortable but furnishings and bathroom are dated. Breakfast was standard but nice to have some hot options. Would have been nice to have some peanut butter. Staff checking in was helpful and friendly. A smile goes a long way.
