I would recommend this property. Our unit was very quiet which was wonderful. The unit we had two thirteen had exceptional water pressure in the shower, awesome view of the marina and bay from the balcony, and all the little amenities you would need. Two size coolers beach chairs etc. Well appointed. Location for us was great also. Having dining on site also a bonus. The pizza was very good as was the sub at sudi's

My husband and I enjoyed 5 days in this condo. I was very happy with the location and condition. This location is on the marina size of Sapphire beach. It is about a 10 min walk to the beach area. Not hard to walk once you figure out which way to go. This room was equipped with beach chairs and snorkling equipment. The snorkling equipment was well used. All masks had scratches and broken straps, but my husband tied them on and made them work. There is rental snorkle gear on beach also. Overall very happy with our stay. We would stay there again.

Hi Delores,We're sorry to hear you had issues with ants, this usually only occurs if food is left out and we are more than happy to help resolve any issue if we are made aware of it by guests. We are quite limited if we only hear about it after the fact in a review. Regarding sand fly bites... Unfortunately that can happen when you are outdoors, in the Caribbean. This is something we really have no control over, but could recommend using bug spray in the future if you plan to walk outdoors in or around sand.All the best,

Nice place, great location!

The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and all sorts of beach gear -coolers, chairs, snorkeling gear- that kept us from having to rent that stuff at the beach. The apartment is a short walk to the beach, a marina, and a good selection of nearby restaurants. The only issue was during the prolonged power outages (apparently this is a thing on the island, wasn't storm related), the apartment got really hot and I slept on the balcony one night. Would have been nice to have some kind of battery powered fan, and a good flashlight.

We are as frustrated with the power outages as you are and apologize for the inconvenience it caused. This is something entirely up to the power company and unfortunately out of our control. These power interruptions are an uncomfortable part of the upgrade process and we are hopeful it will not be an issue for much longer. We do provide an extension cord and instructions for connecting to the hallway power source to plug in small appliances like fans. Posted 30 Jun 2024 on HotelsCondo/Villa is well apportioned. Kitchen has everything needed to eat meals in. Two very nice TVs w/ all the systerm (NETFLIX, Prime, etc). Very comfortable king-size bed. Nice shower. Beautiful views from deck facing Sapphire Beach. Gated entrance w/ 24 hr security. Sudi's bar & Grille serves 3 meals. The food is great and the staff is outstanding.

The reason I am giving such a harsh rating is this place nearly ruined my family’s vacation due to the apathetic or inept management/owners. The overly positive reviews given by others are accurate to the state of the condo and if I had not been in a situation where I really needed the management/owner to act my review likely would have been another of those. However, that was not my reality. The day we arrived a storm rolled through that caused the power to be out for I estimate 16 of the first 24 hours we were on St. Thomas. In fact, we never had a window larger than 10 hours without an outage during our weeklong stay. I do understand that these outages are not the deliberate fault of the management/owners, but they absolutely could have helped minimize the impact the outages had on our trip. In the end, the lack of reliable power significantly increased the cost of our trip because we were forced to eat at restaurants more than planned and had to purchase supplies like flashlights, batteries, and fans. The first night we were trying the best we could to sleep in a condo that was significantly hotter than the outside temperature. It was so hot that we were regularly looking for signs of heat stroke in each other. The only supplies we were provided with to deal with the outage were a flashlight with a nearly dead battery and an extension cord. We attempted to call the management multiple times, but they never answered the phone even during their posted business hours.

John,We completely understand and sympathize with the inconvenience that power outages cause and it's extremely regrettable that this happened more than once during your stay. This is something the entire Island experienced. We appreciate you acknowledging that "these outages are not the deliberate fault of the management/owners". We have absolutely zero control over the power company and their operations, unfortunately... Which is something kindly explained to you during the conversations you had with management/owners that you claim not to have had. It would seem that you were just unhappy with the reality of the situation being that we are limited in what we can do in these situations- understandably so. However, that being the case, your review is rather harsh and unfair considering. We do absolutely everything in our power to minimize the inconvenience, which is why there is an extension cord to allow for electricity to some appliances and a flashlight (which we would have been happy to provide additional batteries for). We are truly sorry that this impacted your vacation so negatively and trust that the power company is continually working to improve their service in the hopes this does not happen again.All the best,

I liked sercurty of the gated community and how close it was to the beach. Also the beautiful plants growing around the housing.
We had no dislikes and enjoyed ever bit of our vacation

Our stay was wonderful! The condo is well equipped and clean. It’s in a perfect location. A short walk to the beach, and a $1 safari bus ride to Red Hook.
