The location of this property is superb and one of the safest areas in Buenos Aires. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful and friendly office workers - specifically Karina and Sofia were very efficient and nice.
Shower needs improvement.

It’s just a fantastic place and I’ve been staying here in the same hotel for 15 years! Sophia at the front desk is the best!!

Good at listening but property needs deep cleaning
Posted 17 Jan 2024 on HotelsOur family took a Cruise and after desembarking decided to stay a couple days over in Buenos Aires. We settled at Ayres Hotel Recoleta Plaza. Knowing that we would desembark early we were in communication with the hotel so that our luggage could be safe kept while we awaited the time for our rooms to be available. Sofia said she would call us via Watsapp once the rooms were available. At the end of the day our rooms were available at 4:00pm - 2 hours past the time that they were supposed ro be ready. Sofia said that it was due to how the previous occupants had left the room. We were assigned 202 and 204 - but 204 no longer had a control remote for the TV and the AC did its own thing - It was set to a cool temperature but on its own the temperature would rise - it was then that we were offered a room in the first floor - so we moved there - However there was a tenant that was smoking weed and that smell permeated in all building. We then asked to be moved again and we were back at 204 - Needless to say we were not able to rest due to the smoke smell as well as the apartment being supper stuffy hot. Once Sofia learned about the tenant smoking she took charge and ensure the tenant left our experience improved. - The reason why giving low scores is because the room specially the bathrooms could benefit from a deep clean, at 202 and 204 black and pink mold are evident. I appreciate that our concerns were listened to but there are certainly improvements that could be made.

Tuvimos mala experiencia. La habitación estaba en malas condiciones, deteriorada, cortinas rotas y pared sucia. Nos cambiaron a otra habitación y esta otra no le funcionaba el aire, tenía problemas con la electricidad.
