Posted 19 Aug 2024 on HotelsWent over with my dad for a football match and to catch up with old friends. Property was fantastic and had everything we needed. Clean and tidy and in a great location. Already booked again to go back.

If located at the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street and at all hours. You’ll need to bring earplugs and eye mask! Also, be aware that the hot water cylinder only heats overnight, so not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings! Building could do with refurbishment.

Be careful to keep food in the fridge else you’ll have a plague of ants! Could probably do with some smartening up / redecoration.

Great property. Noisy clubs nearby that were only a problem because the old windows in the property do not properly seal. Clean. Simple. Spacious. Noisy at night.

Reading is the perfect hub for travels in and around London - this property allowed us to stay in a 2-bedroom flat with kitchen, washer/dryer; everything is walkable - we loved it and would stay there again.
