The property was nice, very clean, modern and functional and everything worked. Couple of very minor niggles which could have easily been fixed. On arrival August 2021 there wasn't any room layout plan to guide new arrivals. That made finding your specific room a whole lot more challenging than it ever needed to be. I wasted time and energy climbing 3 flights of stairs with all my bags to discover there are actually two different staircases and rooms unsignposted. The other minor issue was that the rooms on the top floors are very well insulated and in summer they get very hot and there is no air conditioning. The installation of a portable fan would help here?

Good Morning, Many thanks for taking the time to share your review and feedback on your recent stay with us at our Wellington House apartments in central Reading. As you have provided the review anonymously I am unable to see which apartment you stayed in with us, so in relation to the very minor niggles you mention, it would be great for us to know so that we can look to have these eradicated as soon as possible. You should have also had contact details for our guest services manager during your stay, so that any instances such as these could be raised and repaired in a timely manner, apologies if this process was not communicated once the booking was made. In relation to locating your apartment once in the building, we are in the process of having signage arranged to ease with this process, however you should have received an arrival email, detailing which section of the building your apartment was in, again if this was not provided, I can only apologise. Like most modern buildings in the UK, they are very well insulated, and as a result of air conditioning not being present we are able to provide fans for all guests on request.
