Rauma is a lovely place. CityHovi is not. It is a 2 star hotel. Cleaners were great. Receptionist was ignorant in the morning. Did not say goodbye at checkout. Paperwork had to be filled in despite doing it all online….so lazy. Basic basic basic. Do not redo,mend and believe double the price it should have been. Single bed comfy. Linen did not smell of detergent, it did not smell of anything. Breakfast and coffee ok. Do not recommend. Better hotels for better rates. Also if Rauma hotels want to rip tourists off recommend stay elsewhere and visit the wooden town as there is little else there.

It is true that in some hotels it is possible to fill out the passenger card online before check-in, but unfortunately, we have not taken this feature into use yet. Our apologies as well for the disappointment that you experienced regarding our customer service, we will strive to do our best at making sure that our guests receive genuinely friendly service at all times.As for the linens, the laundry company we order our linens from uses scent-free washing products. Nowadays there are many people who get allergic reactions from scents and detergents, and naturally we want to guarantee a safe good night’s sleep for everyone. However, we ensure you that the linens are clean without a doubt.Thank you for informing us about these important remarks & we would be deeply grateful if someday we get the chance to offer you a more satisfying experience!

Small hotel just 200 meters from Old Rauma. Nothing fancy but quite serviceable for a night or two. Decent breakfast, very friendly and personable staff.
