It was a little on the noisy side. Sidewalks in the area are very uneven, and sometimes nonexistent.

Great hotel for a affordable price

For the price this was a good room for a few days. It was clean, the staff gave us extra pillows upon request, and they even changed the bed mattress for a softer one. The only drawback is that the bathroom window is always open without the option to close it. This allows for more noise to be heard. This is annoying especially at night.

I had to stay at R J just for on night.The room was large and very nice the price I payed.The staff was very helpful.Ask for a taxi and was told not to worry they will take me

We loved staying here because it was not in a real touristy area. We walked down the street and found Son Coffee .. a delightful little local restaurant. Great Pad Thai.
AJs was very comfortable and the view from the 7th floor balcony was out to the sea and islands as well as the local shops.
Recommended for those who want an urban experience.

I had to change rooms because the smell in the rooms is something unacceptable, it smells of humidity, I know they have nothing to do with it. But when you have an allergy, it's very difficult. So I visited three rooms before finding one where it smelled more or less better.
