Great view from our room, private being upstairs also. Lovely hosts, very helpful. However for the price, one would assume that wifi would be in the room and toiletries supplied!
Note the beach out front is also not swimable, on shore waves!! Recommend if you’re after a private stay near Muri Beach (3-5 min drive) though.

Kia Orana BroganThank you for your review, regarding wifi, it is thanks to star link that we can finally provide free wifi to our guests, before this every visitor to the island would have to purchase Vodafone data, sorry the range of wifi does not reach the villas on the beach, but can be used by the pool or at our office.Yes! we do advertise that we are not a swimming beach, but visitors are able to swim any where around the island were there is a nice sandy beach, we are known for our magnificant ocean views.Again thank you for giving us a review and helping other guests get an idea of what our property is like.All the best (kia Manuia)Michele & Svein

We loved staying at Passage Villas, very close to town and the owners were beautiful hosts. Stunning views on the beach. Would recommend getting a unit on the beach, however the family unit we were in was also comfortable. My 3yr old son loved it there. They also serviced the room everyday where we would spend the day out and return to a nice clean place with fresh towels. Amazing ❤️

Lovely spot, great views and it felt very homely. The beach isn't swimmable really but we got to see whales at one point, and it was super close to swimmable Muri beach. The villa was tidied and refreshed each day and they gave us great advise for places to go to eat and activities. The only problem we had was the office was never attended and when I tried calling them I couldn't get through. Perhaps a doorbell would be helpful as I didn't want to go up to there house and disturb their privacy. Again, lovely hosts when they were available, they gave us snorkeling gear to borrow too. Highly recommend!

Svien and Michelle were absolutely lovely, and have the property to match. The villas were well maintained and in a spectacular location right by the water. Would never get tired of waking up to that view.
The room was very comfortable, and had both a fan and a heat pump for those hot days/nights. The hosts were very friendly and made some great recommendations of places to go and things to do. Could not recommend this place enough. They really had all the bases covered with a relaxing pool and even had a bar onsite for people to use. A

What an experience. Spent 5 days relaxing, listening to the waves and watching the whales from our villa
Michele & Svein are incredible hosts, felt like staying with family. They gave us lots of recommendations and let us in on a local secret involving pastries...
Exactly what my girlfriend and I needed as we didn't plan anything and turned our phones off for the duration of the trip
Highly recommend and will be staying there next time in Raro

This is the place to stay if you want an authentic Rarotongan experience while still being close to Muri and snorkelling areas. Seeing whales every day was an unexpected highlight! Our hosts were incredible- knowledgeable and always helpful. Would highly recommend.

The oceanfront location is spectacular, the only sounds are the ocean and the occasional rooster. It is safe and quiet, nice to sit oceanfront, there is limited beach entry. It is close to Muri village, island bus transportation is available, however a car would also be good.The room could use shelves or drawers for storage, we had to use the extra bed and living room chair to store our clothing. The AC stopped working and ventilation was difficult, the lanai door was open but there isn't much opportunity to open other windows for free air flow. Owners are on the property and are friendly and helpful. However, somewhat cavalier in charging your credit card early.

Kia OranaI would like to apologise again about the admin error and the early processing of your accommodation deposit, I did offer to refund this to you at the time and process at the correct time. We apologise for the air conditioning not working, however this was not bought to our attention which would have been ideal rather than hearing about this in a review, our maintenance tech was on the property that week. This particular villa is very well ventilated with sliding door and both sides have double slide back windows. We are happy you enjoyed Rarotonga and it was a pleasure meeting you both. We do appreciate all reviews and will grow from them. We hope you enjoyed the complimentary last day late check out and this made it easier with such a late flight and long trip home to Hawaii.Kia Manuia Michele & Svein
