Expedia did not under construction. Expedia information said there was an elevator available, which there was not. The desk clerk sent us to the wrong direction so we were dragging our luggage and our dog all over the hotel. Every outside access door was propped open, and this was not a very safe area. The room was clean and comfortable.

Staff tried to charge me twice after i had already reserved on expedia and paid in full. The guys at the front desk had no odea what he was doing and was very distracted. There was a piercing whistling noise when the pipes were used at all hours of night. The keys on worked half the time. The rooms were ok and pretty clean. You could here people talking outside our window in the room. The area around the hotel was dirty.

The manager there was very unprofessional. The TV in the room didn’t work and it had no microwave as advertised. The pool advertised was across the street at another hotel.This was ridiculous. The manager was condescending and didn’t want to help. When he saw I had a service animal he made my husband who has heart failure move upstairs and there was no elevator. I explained it is hard on my husband to go upstairs as we are seniors and he had multiple heart stents. The refrigerator in the room upstairs had eaten left over food from a supposedly clean room which we returned to the office. We were told if this wasn’t acceptable then we could leave. I will never return tothis hotel again

This property is currently undergoing a major renovation which was not disclosed upon booking. This meant only one entrance in and out of the hotel no matter where the room was. The remodel leaves something to be desired. Toilet was set crooked in our room. Horrible paint oversprays. And the old bathroom door was left when everything else was brand new. We had problems with one of our keys working and the staff was not able to provide a new key (couldn’t figure out how to program it). There was a broken plastic spoon on the floor under the table in the room. The widows and mirrors desperately needed to be cleaned. And only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Would not stay here again.

Don’t do it. I did because the rates were significantly lower than everyone else’s & it was down the road from where I needed to be. I thoroughly regret this decision. From the unhelpful & rude staff (that appears to be family operated), to the filthy & unkept premises, it was all a disappointment. The first room (second floor) having soiled linens — the bed CLEARLY wasn’t changed & only remade — & wreaked of stale cigarette smoke from the 80s. The second room (first floor) had hair all over the bathroom floor, a broken window lock & shredded curtains but at least the sheets were clean! I did bring it up to the front desk ppl but after requesting a new room they weren’t too quick to help me fix a broken window lock or find a temp one. They simply brushed me off by telling me they would put a call into “maintenance” (jokes on me — they ARE the maintenance ppl). Instead I went to Menards & purchased a thick wood dowel & a hand saw so I could fit it in the window (tweaker stick — if you know, you know). The complimentary breakfast was standard mediocracy — I had a bottled water because after the rooms, I did not trust they would be very clean in the kitchen either. Luckily I grew up in poverty & could deal with the circumstances as I’ve been subjected to worse in my youth, but this is definitely not the standards I’ve become accustomed to in my adult life. If you still decide to stay here, bring bedding & disinfecting wipes with you — you will need them!

There was an unexpected pet pet fee of $35/ each. Our room had a hole ripped in the carpet, the wallpaper is peeling, the room door won’t close on it’s own, there was piles of trash outside, the entrance near our room was propped open and the keypad was broken.

They were working on the hotel and your keys did not open any of the doors to get into the hotel. We had to walk back around to the office and enter there. The staff did not inform anyone that your keys would not open those doors. Also the door handles to get into your room were installed backwards that you had to lift tge handle up. Took us a few tries b4 we figured that out., again the staff did not let you know about that either.

Front desk does not have access to towels. Ours were not replaced. Front desk clerk was no help and actually threatened me when I asked for the managers number. The phone does not work at all. The tolit does not flush properly, the tub / shower drains so slowly you are up to your ankles when showering. entrance doors around the building are no accessable by room key so they keep stones or pieces of wood in them to leave them open, posing a security risk.

I was not impressed. They had horrible customer service and room service knocked in your door like they were law enforcement and asked personal questions, it was weird! The breakfast was stale and not good. They lacked basic cleaning of our room everyday and didn’t provide towels when we needed. I would not stay here again.

Our stay was great. It is not the fanciest place but it definitely does the job. The staff were decent (normal). Not extra welcoming but they would say hi and tell all the info you need to know.

Under construction so no elevator to carry suitcases up to second floor. Had to request clean bedsheets as there looked to be food, I hope, residue on the sheets! Change was done quickly and Christina, the housekeeper who made the change, was lovely and efficient. No coffee maker in room, but had fridge and microwave, thought that was weird, but the saw coffee maker not listed in amenities. TV remote didn’t work and spouse had to do lots of “MacGyvering” to get it to work. So, staff was nice but would not recommend until the construction and refurbishment is done.

The property is being renovated. We did have a room with new carpet, fresh paint and upgraded bathroom, with no towel bars. No coffee in! he room. Breakfast was included, but never there. Pool was being renovated and not useable.
