Like so many guesthouses in Iceland, it is remote. It’s part of a horse farm. This however is part of the charm. How wonderful to look out the windows at the horses grazing, and being welcome to walk through the stables and pet these beautiful animals.
Restaurants are about a fifteen minute drive, so prepare accordingly. I’d definitely stay again.

Amazing property in middle of beautiful landscape. Property was clean, safe and right size for a family on vacation. Owner was very responsive and answered my calls at the very first ring. Only suggestion i have for the property owner is to have a small store with basic groceries for families to purchase ( Oil, bread, eggs, veggies, ice cream, etc.,). Overall an excellent property!

Clean, comfortable, and easy to find
Posted 21 Aug 2024 on HotelsClean, comfortable, easy to find, beautiful property, and the staff were great. Check in was very easy. Free breakfast was a bonus! The common area upstairs offered a great place to hang out after a long travel day. It is a shared bathroom with two other rooms but that was not a problem. The horses were so great too!
