Pros: Most of the staff were most helpful and pleasant.
The Restaurant was adequate and food good.
Cons: Rooms small, Bathrooms need refurbishing. Bedside light inoperative. No visible plug for computer charger.
Location: Good location for the Somme battlefield area.
A short visit spoilt by a poor room, small bed, and poor bathroom. Room smelt of Smoking.

Good value. Good food.

The only issue I had was that the room was hot and I wanted to have the windows open (no ac in most places) however there was an adjoining roof that was hip high to enter the room leaving me uncomfortable to leave the windows open while sleeping.

Four for Dinner!
Posted 16 Dec 2015 on HotelsStayed here for one night whilst we're were combining shopping and touring the World War 1 battlefield sites. The hotel is conveniently situated for the tourist sites and offers a good standard of accommodation. On arrival it was clear that we and our friends were to be the only guests that night. It was a bit unnerving at first but after a couple of drinks we grew into the idea.
The hotel staff immediately made us feel welcome and we found our rooms, although on the small side, to be warm and clean. The dinner was exceptional and the breakfast plentiful.
We all agreed that we would stay there again if the chance arose.

Great for visiting sights of WW1
Posted 7 Oct 2015 on HotelsA perfect place to stay for visiting the sights of the Somme and WW1 in the area. A fantastic restaurant and a lovely feel to the place. The bathrooms need a little update though and I was charged a different rate to what the website said. Overall, considering the nearby options, a great place to stay.
