Traditional experience
Posted 19 Aug 2019 on HotelsThe Resort is set in a stunning location with wonderful views of Mount Kinabalu from the affiliated Restaurant. A stay in one of their 2 longhouses is a must and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only downside to our stay was that we didn't get to try their famous homemade scones as they are too popular!

To get to the hotel, you will have to drive to unpaved road for maybe less than 1km. The cottage that I stayed is clean and tidy. However, insects can be quite troublesome at night. Maybe due to its location. The restaurant is superb. Breakfast is also wonderful. The tea is a must try!

Nice staff, great food and views. The sunset and sunrise views were amazing. The air was so fresh and clean.

Great Longhouse experience
Posted 28 Jul 2018 on Hotelswe knew it would be a Longhouse so it was a fun experience, but everything was as clean as a bamboo structure could be, bedding & towels were clean, washbasin in the room, short walk to toilets, great food at restaurant and wonderful views to Mount Kinabalu - so it was great VALUE FOR MONEY

Close to nature
Posted 29 Dec 2017Long house is a better way to stay rather than camping to be close to nature. Please be aware of all weird insects/animals and the sounds they make.

LONGHOUSE Facilities: Each room is furnished with 3 mattresses on elevated bamboo platform & with mosquito nets,ceiling fan,two lights,wash basin and mirror,&Luggage shelf.Guests share common bathrooms with heated showers and modern toilet adjoining buildings.

Beatiful surrounding.
Posted 20 Jun 2017 on HotelsWas very impressed with the surrounding. Mountain valley with spectacular Mt Kinabalu view in the morning. Added to that room was in good order and comfortable. Kids and family love it very much.
