This hotel is perched above the town and has a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees, and views of the duomo, town and valley. It's a lovely, quiet place and it even has parking about 5 minutes up the hill, which is impossible to find in Ragusa Ibla. The staff are very gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so quiet, and the bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. We highly recommend it.

The upside is a fantastic garden.
The downside is that there is no bar or restaurant open in the day or evening. You can't grab a bite without going out.
No tea facilities.
The room was atmospheric but the walls and the ceiling creaked all night making it impossible to sleep.

Dear Vera, thank you for your feedback. Every opinion is important to us. I just make a few clarifications.All our rooms have coffee machines that also produce hot water. It is also possible to request a kettle at the reception if you prefer. We also have many varieties of tea.The bar service is until 20:00, also early in the morning (before breakfast time) we were always available to prepare a hot drink for you. The property is a 2 minute walk from Piazza Duomo where you can find many restaurants. We do not have a restaurant inside the hotel but during the opening hours of the bar you can ask for things to eat. Just ask.Finally, as far as the room is concerned, the only possible creaking is due to the natural expansion of the wood in the ceiling. It is a noise almost imperceptible that any wooden ceiling makes and is due to the change of temperature between night and day. We are obviously sorry if this has caused you discomfort. It’s the first time this is reported, however we thank you for being our guest and hope to be able to host again.

Great place to stay at. Super friendly staff, great garden, tasty breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Our second time staying at this tranquil haven in the middle of the town. Rare and beautiful garden with pool and you’re truly made to feel very welcome. Great value

very nice location and wonderful breakfast. I forget the gentleman's name at breakfast want to point out he was so engaging and friendly. The kitchen staff woman made us eggs as requested and appreciate her warmth. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Delightful property
Posted 28 Sep 2024 on HotelsThis property was a highlight of our trip to Sicily--we loved it! The staff was extremely helpful (I got lost trying to find it and he guided me over the phone). Beautiful location, a pool, good breakfast included. A gem.

A very nice place to spent a few days. Right in the middle of the good walking areas. Rooms are quite and comfortable. Beds are very good. Breakfast is very good. You ask them to cook the eggs how ever you like them. The grounds are kept in excellent shape. The gentleman who runs the place is very helpful and welcoming. Parking is on the street in front of the hotel or about 200 mt up in a city parking area.
