The directions on Expedia were incorrect, did not receive check-in instructions until 1:48 am night AFTER we were suppose to arrive. Remote area so not easy to find. Friendly local helped us and happened to know the caretaker or we would have never found it. It was not the entire home as advertised, it was a basement of a house, noisy upstairs. Pool was offsite down the road and was closed. Caretaker was sick so couldn’t welcome us so maybe have a backup for this type of situation? The garden was nice, we took some tomatoes and basil, also gleaned leftover grapes from the harvested vineyard, were given adaptors for the kitchen because couldn’t use the coffee pot, toaster, microwave or tea kettle (previous guest apparently took the adaptor? Would be good to check before new guests arrive). Linens were old and dingy, some stained. Was nice having a washer but there was no dryer as advertised, so hung clothes to dry (inside because of lot of rain). It just wasn’t as pictured and described, couldn’t enjoy the covered terrace as it belongs to the house above, and it was raining so cooped up inside was not fun. Beautiful area, shame we couldn’t enjoy it as much. Oh and it got cold at night, so you have to pile on the blankets because they charge extra to turn on heat!!! Wouldn’t recommend it.

Beautiful views out in the Tuscan countryside in a vineyard. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is wonderful.
