The property was very nice and nicely appointed. Food was fantastic. Staff was super. A top rated accomidation for sure!

It's perched ontopa very steep hill isolated from every thing

You are certainly right in saying that the property lies on top a very steep hill, but the view comes at an expense ! and there is not much we can do about it ! However, when you say "isolated from everything", we respectfully disagree, not least when we are talking 7-10 minute walking distance from the main square and when the taxi charge its minimum fare of 1,50 USD to get you back to the hotel from said main square. Again, we thank you for sharing your experience, as far as we are concerned, it was a pleasure having you with us and we hope you are having a pleasant onward journey. Kind regards

I stayed for a few nights and had a terrible time sleeping. First night I was up several times with the noise. I was moved to a different room with no improvement. I was then moved to the suite. It had terrible toad noise and was filthy. Clearly not been cleaned. The parking was a nightmare. The location is not very safe especially at night.

Dear Jalal, First of all, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I must admit that your comments left me truly bewildered. Whilst it is true that we have had to fire up our generator because of the national electricity outage, we have been very careful to reduce the noise inconvenience. In your particular case, we went on offering you to change rooms, not only once but twice, including an upgrade. Worth mentioning that none of our customers complained about the noise since the start of electricity outage, nearly a month ago. Now, as the owner, I cannot but disagree about your comments on cleanliness, let alone filthiness. This is one of our top priorities as a hotel and rooms are thoroughly checked by a supervisor before being handed over to our guests (we do maintain photographic reports). You may have taken little spots/imperfections in the ground ceramics of room 14 for dirt? As for the security, or your perceived insecurity, let me tell you that we have not had any security incidents in 6 years of operation. And yes, we do recommend our guests to get back to the hotel in taxi at night (1,50 USD from the main square). Prevention is better than cure. All in all, we are sorry you did not have a good experience and hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Ecuador. Kind regards.
