"Hernan the owner is an absolute gem. He provided an excellent introduction to the area and gave us a bottle of champagne to ring in the new year. Keep in mind, this is an apartment, not a fancy hotel. The room had everything you need, the sheet are clean etc... but expect some wear-and-tear and the need to fidget with the showers. Also, the place is only five minutes from fun bars, restaurants and night life. "

"Great flat with everything you need and a stunning view, clean and well looked after, check-in was smooth and quick, you will need a car though as it it's about 15 min drive from Vina town centre and the beach and apart from a few shops there isn't anything in the area. Would definitely recommend."

"Nice hotel in an area a little away from the main points of Quintero. I had a few problems with the service in the hotel. Rude housekeeping because on the morning that they knocked the door to clean the room we had yet to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The housekeeper was extremely rude. The next day after the room had been cleaned there were no towels in the room. I called reception (after i had got out of the shower!) and it took more than 20 minutes for towels to arrive. "The Hotel Boutique 17 is a wonderful place. I cannot say enough good about it. The entire staff is great, from the front desk to the cleaning personel to the waiters at the restaurant. They are compitent and pleasant. The restaurant /bar has the best view in town and really good food. And the rooms are spacios, clean, and comfortable. I wish I had stayed there a month"

Unique, with great views from every room.

"This is a unique place with beautiful oceanfront views from every room. Very funky as each room is made from a shipping container. Because of that, the rooms are long and narrow, so there is just a little aisle to get by on the side of the bed. You need to be willing to walk steps, as there is no elevator and the breakfast area is on the 5th floor. Speaking of breakfast, it was a wonderful buffet, and the views from that rooftop are even more expansive that the room views. If you're used to 5-star hotels with room service and every room like the Waldorf Astoria, this is not for you. But if you want a unique hotel experience that you'll be sure to tell your friends, try this place."

"The location of this hotel takes away your breathe. To open the windows at night and listening to the Pacific is sublime. The Spa is really wonderful. My only complaint is that the breakfast doesn't seem as good as it once was."
