Jez is a wonderful host. He always has excellent suggestions of where to eat and explore. The facilities are warm and inviting like the host. This is our second visit and hope to return again.

I didn't realize how far away from town it was and when booking I thought it was an apartment not someones house you shared a bedroom in

It is definitely a privilege to have stayed at such a luxurious location. Everything was in tip top condition, the amenities were far beyond even the 5-star hotels. Well worth the price!

The property was beautiful, in an excellent position with views of the lake. Only drawback- driveway. In saying that would still choose to stay there again if I was in Queenstown

Thank you for you 5 strap review! Our driveway is pretty standard for Queenstown as the whole town is built on a hill! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and welcome you back anytime! Jez

Amazing Queenstown was fantastic all round. We were made to feel very welcome and there were so many little touches that made our stay even better than expected. We borrowed bikes to cycle into town which was great. Jez helped book our trip to Milford Sound which saved us time and hassle. When our flight was cancelled, we were fortunate enough to be able to stay an extra night which was dealt with very smoothly. We'd highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Queenstown!

Queenstown
Posted 9 Jan 2019 on HotelsGood location very clean and comfortable downside i had no view no blind on the window so everyone could look in very noisy when people were in the kitchen over the bedroom this is not a £165 priced room book the lake side if u want value for money but would recommend the place overall

Thank you for staying with us and choosing Amazing Queenstown. The room actually has mirrored glass as well as curtains so even with the curtains open no one will see in. We like your idea of a blind however as you would be able to close out the top of the window which guests seem to like to do in some of our other rental units so we’ll add blinds to this room.
In regards noise we’ve recently changed our guest rules for common spaces which includes quiet time for all common spaces including the kitchen and washing machines with a view to improving guest comfort - sadly what we’d have thought was common sense is lacking and we still have to remind guests it’s not allowed to cook or wash clothes late at night. We’ve also moved to be no children recently which should also decrease noise and improve guest comfort.

Most challenging is driving down to the parking lot and parking when u left one lot. Worst is when I try to park in this lot with the other 2 cars park on or exceed the line on both side in the middle of the night. Shared toilet was bad when the other room guests took forever.

Hi Chin Tiong, I'm sorry you didn't like the driveway but there is little we can do about it as the whole town is on the side of Queenstown Hill and surrounded by mountains... There are also additional bathrooms on the level below or level above depending on which room you are in so plenty of options. The signage for this bathrooms does say this.
