Shower in bathroom was so messy - water everywhere due to the shower curtain being used rather than the shower shown in property pictures.

The proximity to shops and restaurants is good. Cleanliness of the rooms not good. View from the second floor of rooms is disappointing due to the building in front. Gardens beautiful Floors and kitchen were never cleaned. Dirty dishes left. Disappointing. Only one night did they do a turn down service. Not sure if we would revisit. Reception staff were good

Stayed 9-14/10/2024 rented a 3 bedroom apartment. View was fabulous and location a short walk to town. There is parking on the street as thd property charges $22 a night for parking and if you have a big car the spaces are very tight to get into. Lounge room had a wonderfull gas fire

Great location and spacious bedrooms. No heated towel rail in bathroom and no privacy curtains in the lounge area of the two bedroom unit were disappointing

Very disappointed with our room (ground floor 108). We paid extra for a lake view room, but this room only gave an obstructed view - cars were always parked out front and difficult to see between the trees. Nothing like the advertised pictures, which were higher levels. Worse though, was that if the curtains were open anyone walking or driving past could see in. As there was no storage space (only 1 small hanging robe in the bedroom) we put clothing in the dining room buffet and on the table. Again, this meant keeping the curtains closed.
Another concern was getting into and out of the shower. As a 55 year old with short legs, I literally had to climb into and out of a sloping bath. Very dangerous - a safety concern - as no non-slip mat provided.
When we checked in, we asked for any other room, but we're informed that because we checked in so late (around 3pm - check in from 2pm) all other room had been taken. Basically told 'too bad.
Don't pay for a lakeview, unless it is guaranteed to be 2nd floor or above and confirm what room you will be allocated. When I reviewed check in, via Expedia, I received an email saying that management would be informed. Have not heard anything from Peppers management.
Certainly not impressed with the room or the service we received. Plenty of other apartments in Queenstown with stunning lake views.

Good sides and where to improve
Posted 8 Sep 2024 on HotelsStaff were friendly, view from living areas of accommodation was stunning , shower water pressure was good, fireplace works well, as well as air conditioner. Shower doors closed tightly.
Meanwhile the dishwasher was very smelly (greasy smell), as well as range hood. No action from property team following reported to reception so that we purchased a dishwasher cleaner (cost $10). We washed grease filters of range hood first, then cleaned dishwasher with purchased dishwasher cleaner.
Another interesting feature was that there was no door tag for Do Not Disturb.
Carpet also looked dated.
