I reserved a room with view to Old Quebec and was given a room on the bottom floor with a grass view. The room was nothing like in the photos. We had to downgrade to have a room on a higher floor. The room and hallways have a dirty smell. The toilet was dirty, and the bathroom had a shower curtain that made me feel like I was in a one star hotel . For almost $500 dls a night, I expected more.

Our team offered you a second option which you accepted and seemed quite happy with the change. To apologise for not being able to accommodate you in a room of the same category on a higher floor, as they were all occupied, we also offered you two breakfasts. Unfortunately you did not give us any feedback on the cleanliness of your room. We could have rectified this if we had known.We hope to be able to welcome you again so that we can offer you a service that lives up to what we wish to offer our customers.

Convenient location. Walking distance to Old Quebec City. Near to restaurant, coffee store and souvenir shop. Will stay again at this hotel in the future.

Israel, the concierge, was amazingly helpful and went out of his way to make sure you have a great time.

First time at the Capitole Hotel with VIP Guests. Got there and a bit lost waiting for someone to show up for valet parking but the service was great as long someone was there. Checkin was great and got 4 coupons for drinks at Bar. Bar is very limited but was shocked that when we order the free 4 drinks that we were told it was limited to 12.50$ each when no cocktail or mix drink was there for anything at that price level so we were charge an extra 8.50$ each for Gin/Tonic. What a joke this VIP coupons were. The A/C was terrible and locked into American Temp F instead of C" We put at 67f and always stay at 70f so not comfortable. The beds were not soft and my feeling it was past its time. We bought coupons for breakfast downstairs but in all honesty Il Thetro breakfast is not fresh (fruits) and we git server hard bread like it was re-heat. Have breakfast somewhere else. We booked the big rooms and the view of another red building. Room 310/311 has no view. Strange hotel you have to go to 7th floor to lobby and rooms is another section which has no exit to outside and you always have to go back to 7th floor pass reception to take another elevator to get out. Did not enjoy because of these pitfalls and price were same levels as higher end hotels. But location was super.

Everything was updated and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Great bar drinks too!
