Basic comfortable hotel that can improve service
Posted 5 Jan 2020 on HotelsThe hotel is most basic. Service can be improved several notches. It's almost as if staff don't care whether they have guests or not... very indifferent, emotionless and dry service.
The few amenities in the room including plates, cutlery, crockery etc were a bit stained and unclean. They were all of different kinds, almost like leftover stuff from someone's house.

Liked the staff.
Cleanliness could be improved.
Shower was broken.
Toilet smelled.
Overall, good stay.

Location was great.
The bathroom smelt really bad and upon arrival, the room was quite dirty.
I also had stained sheets and towels.

Value of money, a great place to stay, great location, super clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I have had a nice stay for a week with a nice view of the mountains and the city, quiet and comfort and super hospitality, defiantly will book next time. Thank you so much for the comfort stay.

Very homely hotel excellent service from staff

Pros: Everything
Cons: There should be an intercom service to the front office and other parts of the hotel for easy communication from the rooms
Location: Trianon Shopping center is a walking distance to the lodge. It is in the center of the Country and site seeing was easy to the South of Mauritius
My cousin and I booked a family room expecting to get two adult beds but got two adjoining rooms with a kitchenette which was super for our use. Ruben who received us was helpful in getting us McDonald’s hamburger as late as it was. Hannah too got Owen to drop us at the 5 Elements for our massage for free as she advised that the distance was too long for walking. All in all we had a very relaxing three days at the Vintage. The mini apartment was cleaned thoroughly every day. It was also a walking distance to the mall

Confirmed....but no rooms!
Posted 19 Mar 2018 on HotelsProblem with reservation - I had a confirmed reservation, but when I got to the hotel, the receptionist claimed that they had not confirmed the reservation, as they had no rooms available. We had to then book into another hotel nearby in haste, as we had a function to go to.

Amazing
Posted 27 Aug 2017 on HotelsIt was amazing , never expected a lodge to be so gud , neat clean with all basic facilities.free wi fi , hot eater , ac , drinking water.What else on can expect .and most of all RUBEN ....the man of the moment ....ha ha ha , he went all way out to help us ve it any thing , that guy can fix up anything .thanks a lot ruben , i lost my way in the neighborhood , but there comes ruben to guide meknow back to the lodge .thnx a lot
