Bearly acceptable.
Posted 20 Mar 2018 The language barrier will always be a problem great The dining facilities were poor in the cleaning standard. Tables were left un cleaned and from the guests before. I woke to water running down my wall.

Nice river view
Posted 4 Jan 2018 on HotelsThe bathrooms were spacious as were the bedrooms. Beds were not bad to sleep on. The facilities were great, except that the pool was not working. Massages are for men only. This is what they told my wife anyway. The breakfast was basic. Probably needed some cereal options.

Wrong rooms and dirty pool
Posted 13 Jun 2017 on OrbitzWhen we arrived, the rooms we reserved were not available. We paid for 2 family rooms and were stuffed into 2 small rooms. 3 adults and 3 kids and only one bed in each room.
The pool was disgustingly dirty. They apparently open the pool to the pubilic. There were so many kids packed into this pool, they were literally shoulder to shoulder. The tought of what percentage of kid urine contained in that pool made me shutter.

Good hotel as a non-touristic site
Posted 8 Sep 2016
Pros: Spacious room. Good restaurant.I liked their strong coffe. Staff friendly. Good view.
Cons: English proficiency of the staff.
Location: Good location if you are interested in the Vietnam War. Easy access to the city center.
I stayed two nights with my daughter in a River View Twin room (#314). This is a good hotel with basic services, considering that Quang Ngai is not a touristic site such as Hoi An or Da Nang. The view of the river and the bridge from the room was great. The staff at the reception did not speak English so well and did not seem to understand the booking system via Expedia. He did not even understand what a credit card was. He said the Riverview Twin was not available, though I showed him the printed page of Expedia that says I had booked for a Twin instead of Double. After a couple of minutes' talk on a phone, however, he said a Twin is available. I guess this staff was not a regular one, because it was Sunday. Maybe he got nervous facing an unexpected guests who looked like him but do not speak Vietnamese (I'm Japanese). The staff on the next 2 days spoke English and everything went OK. They accepted my credit card.
They serve good free buffet style breakfast. Dinner is good as well and inexpensive. The restaurant staff did not speak English well, but they were nice.
Overall, this was a good hotel, admitting that you cannot expect a service in big cities.
