The property was looking tired in need of a refurbishment, room was clean, good hot shower beds not very comfortable. the buffet breakfast was excellent plenty to fill up on

Overall ok but most of receptionists are unfriendly and sometimes rude. Room and cleaning ok, but hotel may need some maintenance work

Filthy, old fashioned and I would never go back to this hotel. Blood stains on blanket on the bed, mould all around bathroom, cracked mirrors with sharp edges, exposed electrics in bathroom lamp. Breakfast was of a very poor standard with very little selection and the pool area was dirty and stank of old drains.. avoid this place.

Dear LeightonMany Thanks for your bad review you published everywhere without any right at allYou did wrong booking dates for your stay asked the hotel for extra night 1 day before you arrive we offer it for you for 75 euros for this night included the breakfast we sent you the driver in time and he get you to hotel – in your message replied you told me you are happy to pay the 75 euros for this night – please note our minimum stay at the hotel is 3 nights offer booking you one night stay was good service from us to you as your room booked was not available till the day you supposed to check-in – so we give one room for 1 night than moved to other room a day after – I can easy say I do not have any availability please try to find other hotel for this night and I am sure if you will not find you will pay 2 or 3 times more you paid us and I think you tried Your room you stay in there many gussets went in and out without any kinds of comment or complain – you just expecting the extra night for free – when I look at your false and unfair review you are talking about the best things we offer and described as bad- for example you describe our breakfast as poor standard which it is big lie as well when you saying pool area dirty – and you had your breakfast in full daily and more then you need for day but I think they stop you take food out from restaurant as rules of the house the same for the rooms towels you can not take it to the pool or beach it is very simple you booked room for yourself so non- guests not allowed to hotel rooms – that what we call rules of the house – you do not agreed or understand it is fine Dear Leighton it is shame to fabricate /Fake lies and insult hotel because you have right to write and published review – let ask you did you went to reception or manager and complain about what you published here ? no you never did because it is all fake lies

Reception is open 24 hours so you can check in at any time despite Expedia instructions to the contrary. Great location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only 5 mins from seafront. Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff and management. Good pub with great staff adjoining the hotel although the one time I ate there it wasn’t good. Nice big free carpark opposite. Good Wi-Fi. Basic rooms but nice and roomy. Very noisy building all day long weekdaysfrom 7am until 5pm on the roof so impossible to relax during the day on fourth floor. Luckily I’m an early riser so didn’t affect me much but they should at least have curbed the noisiest work until after 9. There is a fridge in the room but I would have preferred a kettle as there’s nowhere to get a cup of tea or coffee in the morning other than the instant vending machine in the foyer. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am which I thought was a bit late and it’s a buffet which I’m not keen on. The 9 ball café just around the corner opens at 7 and serves a better fresh breakfast for a similar price. Standard of room cleanliness wasn’t great.
