I recently stayed at Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort and found it to be a mixed experience. The room service and cleanliness were excellent, with housekeeping keeping everything spotless and comfortable, though mosquitoes in the room and on the balconies were an issue. The beach area was beautiful, but the water had a lot of seaweed despite staff efforts to clean it. The pool areas and cabanas were fantastic and provided the most relaxing moments of my trip. The food at the main buffet was great, offering a wide variety of options, though the restaurant meals were average. Staff at the buffet often seemed to have an attitude, which was disappointing. The alcohol selection was mediocre unless you specifically requested premium liquor, and service quality often depended on tipping. A major drawback was the pushy behavior of some staff. I was misled into a three-hour sales pitch for an EXTEND membership under the pretense of breakfast, and the spa staff frequently harassed guests to book expensive treatments. This overly aggressive approach discouraged me from using the spa. Entertainment was a highlight, with fun daily shows and an amazing dancing staff. Stephanie, in particular, stood out for her energy and ability to keep everyone engaged. Overall, the resort has great potential, but improvements in staff training and service are needed. Smoking is also allowed in many areas, which may bother non-smokers. I’d rate it 4 stars

Overall a great experience except for the presentation of xpand that took forever and took 3 hours of our day

Beautiful resort! My 5 day stay for husband bday was very enjoyable and relaxing. Drinks was amazing, swim up bar and the entertainment was a vibe. Will return soon.

Absolutely love the hotel. The ability to have 3 pools, actual beach and so many food options is a plus. Gabriel at the check in counter, Joes at pool bar 2 and the entertainment staff were great.

The property was fantastic, with awesome amenities like cleaning services and a great staff. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy, and the food was tasty. Property was very well maintained, both on the beach area and around the pools. Lots of activities daily. Very friendly staff.
