While the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, our expectations were off based on other reviews and YouTube videos.
Everywhere you went, there's always a staff member to help you. Having a translation app is helpful for a few instances, but not always needed. The grounds were well taken care of and adequate for the most part. Food choices were there, but the quality was lacking significantly.
My wife and I don’t usually eat fast food, but the Wendy's at the airport was more flavorful than anything that was provided at the resort. The food was very bland. The cleanliness of the room was ok for the most part. Yet if you are actively looking for the dirt as a neat freak, you will find it. The outdoor furniture, jacuzzi, and showerheads needed the most attention in regard to the cleanliness.
The one thing that I was not prepared for at all was the timeshare/membership presentation that they attempted. I did not want nor cared for any presentations on my vacation. This was an inconvenience with having the hard sell on vacation memberships and repeated "No's". The gift for sitting through the presentation also required you to make a purchase just to receive a 2 for 1 discount at the spa. I do not like my time to be wasted after I already purchased my vacation time.
Lastly, I've read reviews about this being a quiet place. This place is everything but quiet. There's always a party or event going on, so bring your noise canceling headphones (preferably over the ear).

I had a great time from the beginning to the end… However, The restaurant ATL needs real Mexican options. Lucris Bellman. Mary Concierge, and George Front Desk top tier…..

Not my first time at the Live Aqua Punta Cana, many things have changed since my last visit, the room wasn’t as clean as it was before, the food was just ok, the entertainment team needs to improve, the shows are not good. ( the fire show is basically the best show). The played the same 7 songs day and night, for the six days that I was there, at the main pool and disco. The staff at the Live Aqua is extraordinary, professional and very courteous, they make our vacation so much better. Guys at the Miraflores and French restaurant are amazing,10/10 in hospitality.
