Place away from main amenities..not close to the beach..

We are just a few meters from a large shopping center with a large supermarket, restaurants, banks, etc. And right halfway between the beaches of Bavaro and Punta Cana, very central.

We had 2 bookings. In our first booking we stayed on the first floor. The apartment was infested with roaches. I complained and they wanted to move us to the 2nd or 3rd floor, I told her that there wasn't any need because we were checking out the following day to go to a different hotel that we had reserved for 5 days and then come back and do two more days at Bavaro Green. When we come back for our 2nd stay,they could put us on the second floor. when we came back they check us in on the third floor. The issue we had was that the AC in both rooms was sto
ser at 76 degrees. The remote control could not bring down the temperature or take the temperature up. I went to the to the reception and someone came tried to fix it and it wasn't working. She took one of the remotes and promised sending a technician but no one ever came until we checked out after 2 days.
The set of the rooms was also weird. The Masters bedroom was instead that had several beds for kids and an inside bathroom, while our room is that hot and outside bathroom.

To much noisi Kids. The flat has only in sleepingroom ac. the livingroom has a Fan IS very hot at the livingroom

The Office/Property Manager was notified by the night security, housekeeping, and myself that a gas leak was in my unit on the third day of my stay. I asked to be moved. She called a worker to come and examine. He turned off the gas to the stove and unplugged it. I had a refrigerator full of food. This continued for five more days. She would not move me to another unit or get someone else to fix the unit. I lost all the food because technician cutoff breaker to stove and refrigerator for two days. Water was all over the floor from the freezer defrosting. I stayed away from the unit everyday to eat out and other things. She was never in the office when I return to discuss this issue. She was not in the office when I checked out. This is the worst property manager that I had ever experienced in the DR. Common courtesy would to place me in another unit. Staying in a unit with a natural gas leak is totally unsafe for the unit and units around it. Further, the Property Manager alerted none of other tenants or owner of this gas leak. This is a major liability for the property owner(s).
