Great way to experience Titicaca
Posted 14 Dec 2018 on HotelsKind of a floating B&B, Eddy and his family share their Uros Island and offer a couple of bedrooms.
Hosts are quite welcoming and eager to share about their culture, how they live on Titicaca lake, etc.
Boat ride was smooth, clean bedroom and decent breakfast: great experience!

What an amazing place! Nicest family with superb attention to detail. Yes it is chily at night but they do everything to accommodate you. Family unplugged for the night, played boardgames and saw an amazing skyline.

Awesome life experience at Lake Titicaca
Posted 31 Oct 2018 on HotelsOur stay with Eddy and his family on Uro Aruntawi Lodge was a very unique experience that we will never forget! If you plan to come to Lake Titikaka, this is the place to stay!
The room is spacious and very clean with a private bathroom (including toilet). They even have a shower with hot water on the island (shared).
The view in the room through big glass windows over Lake Titicaca is priceless. When you wake up to this, you feel relaxed immediately.
Eddy and his family were very welcoming and kind. He showed us his island, how it is build, explained us a lot about the culture of the Uros and how they live on their islands, took us out for fishing and gave us a tour through the Uro Island community. One afternoon, we played Mikado with the whole family - fantastic!
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is served and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast consists of fresh bread, omelette, tee/coffee, juice, avocados and tomatoes.
Dinner is soup, meat, fries, rice, vegetables and dessert. Tours, dinner and lunch are not included but are worth the price.
Although it can get really cold at night, we got hot water bottles every night, which made for a warm bed :)
Thanks a lot for this awesome experience!

Superbes vues!!!

Imersão no Lago Titicaca
