"An amazing stay from start to finish!! Our room was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen for breakfast. The staff was 5 star, above and beyond doesn’t do them justice. This is the only place I will stay in Quito going forward."

"It seems like a brand new property. The staff is super kind, both the front door staff and the one who communicate with you via WhatsApp (the staff of the sister hotel less so). They are extremely responsive. The location is great, near lots of restaurants and the beautiful Carolina park. "

"It was a pretty good stay. Quito is going through some power outages (due to the drought), so we had power off a lot of the time we were there at the property. But that's not necessarily the owner's fault -- everyone in Quito is getting their energy cut right now. Overall, it was a good deal, located up in a relatively safe area (in the financial district). I'm not sure I'll ever be in Quito again, but I'd definitely consider staying here again if I did. ~Jon"

"The property is beautiful with a wonderful view and the top roof is pretty but not much to do up there all the chairs were covered and for everything you have to ask for permission. About the unit, is amazing but was a little dirty and the walls around the bed was ready dirty, no extra toilet paper, if you call luxury apartments should have luxury furniture, not cheap plastic plates or fake plastic plants with the price tags, the bed should be solid and elegant custom built furniture so you can...

"Mi nombre no estaba registrado en la recepción , el guardia de turno poco colaborador , hasta que llegó otro guardia del edificio y nos ayudó. "The apartment is nice, but be aware that the owner is quite inflexible. When we learned we were unable to have friends over in the apartment (building policy not mentioned to us at any point), we requested to leave. The owner was completely inflexible, and threated to charge us additional an amount if we continued to request an early checkout. If you're looking for a quick stay with a washer go ahead- but if you want more use of the apartment look elsewhere."

"IQON ia a beautiful building in and out but the service inside the unit was pathetic. Checking in was hard. we had someone come in and show us our apt with no help/support later. Our floors were not clean, no toiletries in bathroom, no bed sheets, no bath towels and one of the main living room window was not properly closed. With no help we dialed downstairs and security person came up but he could not help. Reached out to hotels.com who finally after 3 hours had someone come in with bath towels...

"Loved our stay in Quito. Edwin was an amazing host - picking us up late and dropping us back at the airport very early 5 days later. His apartment was perfect! Lovely secure apartment complex, beautifully decorated and everything in perfect order. Thank you very much. Highly recommend this place and Quito is a great place to visit!! "

"This was a great place to stay near the airport. The staff was great, the airport oick uo went smoothly and the complimentary breakfast was very lovely. One negative was the late night noise from the street which made sleeping difficult. "

"The staff were attentive, polite and accommodating. Again another example of the great service, when I realised the Internet was not free, they arranged to get me signed up as a member and then reversed out the changes. Many hotels I have stayed at need to spend some time here to understand what great customer service looks like. Needless to say, the rooms were very clean, very comfortable and the overall environment was great. They represented real value for money and I will be sure to stay here when we return again."

Hotel Rincon de Puembo, BW Signature Collection

"We stayed at Rincón de Puembo on our way to the Galápagos and again when we returned. I highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing (have the cold shrimp in a chilled soup), and the service is outstanding. We ate at both restaurants but El Grill with outdoor seating was my favorite. The rooms are nicely done. The woman that checked us in Monday Jan 21 around 7:30pm was so very helpful and she was there to help us again when we returned on the 29th. She made sure there was a van to pick us up in Quito, another to take us to airport the next morning for the islands, another when we returned from the Galápagos and once again when we left to go back to the airport in Quito. Everything went as planned. If I'm lucky enough to return, I will stay at Hotel Rincón de Puembo. "
