This place is showing its age, but is still excellent value. The staff will go out of their way to make you happy. We needed roo, service for a major cleanup at 2am. It took less than 10 minutes for someone to respond. One night when the music was not to our liking at the restaurant, they brought our dinner to a comfortable, quiet place in the lobby. Will definitely return.

Old property but well maintained and enough fun and food options to have good fun for a few days. Staff trick you into attending a vacation plan seminar and sales pitch the moment you arrive and before even checking in.

Friendly staff. Good location. Great beach area. Pools were nice and warm. Loved my vacation here! Lots of fellow Canadians! The only dwnfall of tge resort I would say is very quite past 11pm. Bars and all the restaurants close leaving nothing to do except go off rrsort or go to bed early. Ither than that my vacation at this resort was amazing!

We loved the scale of this property. Big enough to feel private, but small enough for easy and quick access all around the resort. The staff was incredibly good - genuine, helpful, attentive, kind. We liked it so much that we're going back in March and taking a dozen family with us!

VDP is the oldest of the properties but the beach is still beautiful! The majority of the staff there are friendly, however they just seemed short staffed for the amount of people in the resort. Our room was clean but plain but had a washer dryer which was a nice surprise. Housekeeping was intermittent. The resort had an air of “flatness” to it this could be due to the staff being told it’s closing and being torn down soon or at the request of its older clientele. Eating is somewhat limited but they do their best to provide options. Great walking or bus options to downtown PV. If you’re not fussy and just want to relax by the the pool or beach for a week in beautiful PV than this place is for you!!

I will give 5stars but just 4stars as an all inclusive most of their menu at their snack bar were out of stock or not available, the seafood market did not have seafood much to offer, mostly meat, and desserts are repetitive and not attractive, our room there was no way to turn off the ceiling, was too cold in the middle of the night, but if you will turn off the main switch every light will be switched off and we do not want too dark as for going in the washroom will be a hassle. For the things that I did not mention, overall great service from the friendly staff. Musicians and Rhythm of the night performance were awesome! Beautiful place! We had a very relaxing time during our short vacay! Will recommend! Just need some improvements I hope when we come back again. :)

The hotel was an amazing experience.. the staff made the whole experience absolutely great… Our server was Emiliano and I think someone should take notice of how he takes care of his customers … Hope to see him when we return..

Although an older facility and about to see some major overhauls we found the staff and amenities within our liking. The food offering was limited as they had only a couple facilities open, walking to near by restaurants was a breeze. Not exactly what you want from an all inclusive. The staff made the stay enjoyable
